Critical analysis on Intro
I think that the author had a pretty good argument with the points she gave through out her introduction. She used the test done by the philosopher to show that focus and concentration on just one thing may not be as good as we think it is for you. She is trying to show that we need to realize the other things around us and not just focus on one thing in our lives. If we are just focusing on one thing we will miss a lot of other things going on around us. I agree with her arguments to an extent through out her introduction. I agree with her that we do need to realize and know our surroundings. We can't be so focused on something that we have no clue about what is going around us and miss little details because those can be very important in the end. The reason I do not agree is because I believe that sometimes you do need to just focus in on somethings because some people learn better that way even in the 21st century. We do need to change with the times, but if we succeed at learning the way we do we should keep it that way.
