Logos

My three examples of logos abuse is mainly how they are abused in food products. My first logos abuse example is how people believe that sandwich wraps are healthier and more nutritional for them then bread. The truth is that sandwich wraps contain more calories, carbs and fats than regular bread. Wraps contain 150 calories 3g of fat and 26g of carbs. Bread on the other hand contains 120 calories 1g of fat and 23g carbs. The healthy choice is to honestly just eat bread and stay away from wraps.
My next example is how people are deceived into thinking that artificial sweetner is more beneficial for you than natural sugar. The reason why artificial sweetner is not healthy for you is because it contains Saccharin (bladder cancer) and Aspartame. Which studies have shown that both of these ingredients can cause harm to your body. Some studies think that they may be cancerous if used daily for a number of years. While natural sugar has a lot of fats and carbs and is not good to consume a lot of, it is better than consuming artificial sweetner which has many more side effects to your body.
My third example is the advertisement of new hair products that come out and claim to cure your hair instantly over night. They are much more expensive then the old hair products but contain the same exact ingredients as the new one that just came out. But because of commercials and being displayed everywhere people buy the new product thinking that it is a lot better for your hair when truly your old products were doing the same exact thing for your hair. People are being fooled and losing their money or not paying close enough attention to the facts and are being tricked into believing that these products are better for them when really the old way was working just fine.
